I feel like this is the current bottleneck of my productions. What do you people use and recommend?

I make a cool drumsound in an empty FL project and always run audition in the background to record it, then shove it into a new project.

I love Some freeware effects, like classic EQ. Also TUBEVST is amazing.

Don't you lose some potential quality by recording and not rendering, or is that only true with synthesizers? Makes sense I guess, samples probably would play in the same quality.

i like to filter my not-kicks with z3ta+, frOHMage, and absynth a bit too much. but really, different production methods and techniques for different sounds and genres and whatnot.. just go on a free filter downloading spree and find what works best for you Very Happy
